Jakarta, 15 December 2025 - PT IAS Support Indonesia held its Operational Readiness Assembly for the 2025/2026 Christmas and New Year travel period, commonly referred to as NATARU, on Monday, 15 December 2025 at 08.00 WIB. The assembly took place at the Lobby of Building 601, PT IAS Support Indonesia Office, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
The assembly reflects the company’s commitment to ensuring full operational readiness ahead of the year-end peak travel season. It was attended by the Board of Directors, Senior Leaders, Executive General Managers, General Managers, and frontline personnel from across operational divisions.
Led by President Director Muhammad Putra Pariadi, the assembly brought together personnel from aviation security, facility management, trolley operations, operations and maintenance, as well as other technical support services. In his address, the President Director highlighted the critical importance of consistently applying Standard Operating Procedures in light of a projected passenger growth of 10 to 14 percent compared to the previous NATARU period.
“This readiness assembly represents our collective commitment to preparing every aspect of our operations for the NATARU peak season,” said Muhammad Putra Pariadi. “Each personnel member must fully understand their responsibilities, remain physically and mentally prepared, and stay committed to delivering service at the highest standard.”
Three Strategic Priorities for NATARU 2025/2026
To support safe, smooth, and reliable operations during the upcoming peak period, PT IAS Support Indonesia has defined three strategic focus areas. First, strengthening aviation security and safety through the optimal performance of both AVSEC and non-AVSEC security personnel. All teams are required to maintain a high level of vigilance, apply inspection procedures consistently in line with national and international aviation regulations, and uphold professionalism in passenger interactions, even under high operational intensity.
Second, enhancing service quality across all operational segments, including airport trolley management as a key contributor to the passenger experience. The President Director emphasized the importance of efficient trolley rotation from collection areas to departure and arrival zones, as well as ensuring sufficient availability at every service touchpoint. Facility management and operations and maintenance teams are directed to increase inspection frequency and implement preventive maintenance to anticipate higher infrastructure utilization.
Third, strengthening strategic coordination with PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia and all airport stakeholders to ensure operational alignment and rapid response to on-site dynamics. Coordination efforts include readiness for additional personnel deployment, availability of supporting infrastructure, and proactive risk mitigation related to potential weather disruptions that may affect flight schedules.
In addition, Muhammad Putra Pariadi underscored the importance of maintaining personnel health and fitness throughout the peak operational period. “We encourage all personnel to remain in optimal physical and mental condition. Should there be any health concerns or issues that may affect performance, proactive communication with supervisors is essential to ensure that aviation safety standards are upheld at all times,” he stated.
According to data from the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, the 2025/2026 NATARU period is expected to see peak outbound travel between 20 and 24 December 2025, with return flows peaking on 2 and 3 January 2026. Nationwide, air transportation is projected to serve approximately five million passengers during this period.
To accommodate this increase, PT IAS Support Indonesia has prepared dedicated operational measures, including intensified daily operational briefings, flexible personnel deployment, and real-time coordination with service principals to ensure high responsiveness to operational needs.
As part of InJourney Group, PT IAS Support Indonesia remains committed to supporting the continuity of national air transportation through professional manpower services, ICT solutions, facility management, equipment supply, and maintenance services. The company’s comprehensive readiness for NATARU 2025/2026 reflects its guiding philosophy, “Melayani Sepenuh Hati,” which underpins every operational activity.
