Jakarta, October 16, 2025 — PT IAS Support Indonesia (IAS Support) has established a strategic partnership with PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports) through the Initial Basic Aviation Security (Avsec) Certification Program. This initiative, part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability (TJSL) efforts, primarily aims to advance the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in quality education and decent work and economic growth.
Dian Kusumaningtyas, Director of Human Capital at IAS Support, emphasized that this collaboration has clear strategic objectives. "The Avsec certification program is designed to provide aviation career opportunities for our personnel while creating long-term benefits such as enhanced internal loyalty, business environment stability, and collaboration potential with skilled workforce. This represents a sustainable investment in the national airport human resources ecosystem," she stated.
Strategic Objectives of the Avsec Certification Partnership
This partnership focuses on four interconnected primary objectives. First, providing access to aviation career opportunities through nationally recognized basic aviation security competency certification, opening professional career pathways in airports.
Second, supporting SDG achievement under Pillar 4 (Quality Education) through national-standard vocational training, and Pillar 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by creating a certified workforce pipeline ready to compete in the aviation labor market.
Third, generating long-term corporate benefits through increased personnel loyalty, operational stability, and reduced recruitment-training costs due to the availability of internally validated competent workforce.
Fourth, strengthening the business ecosystem through collaboration potential with skilled workers committed to aviation safety and airport operational standards.
Operational Capability Enhancement and SDG Alignment
Through Initial Basic Avsec certification, IAS Support personnel acquire aviation security procedures competency in accordance with national and international regulations. This certification ensures consistent security standards across operational areas at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, and other partner airports.
The Director of Human Capital added that this initiative forms the foundation for sustainable human resource development programs. "Our primary goal is to develop a workforce that is not only technically competent but also possesses an aviation safety professionalism mindset. This aligns with SDG commitments for quality education that directly generates decent employment in strategic industries," explained Dian Kusumaningtyas.
The partnership with Angkasa Pura Indonesia also opens opportunities for advanced certifications such as Avsec Supervisor and Advanced Security Screening, targeting 80% nationally certified personnel by the end of 2026. This program serves as a blueprint for comprehensive competency development encompassing facility management, trolley operations, and airport customer service.
As part of Group InJourney, PT IAS Support Indonesia positions SDG achievement as a strategic business pillar. The Avsec certification partnership manifests the "Serving Wholeheartedly" commitment through human resource development that contributes to national economic growth and aviation industry stability.
